Super D700 ..

November 15th, 2008

This ain’t a wedding entry eventho the following shots were taken during a wedding. Few weeks back, we were invited to a wedding event held at Tamarind Spring but i don’t intend to detail out on the event but just to showcase some pics taken at the scene.
As i’ve been to this place before, somehow i know it wasn’t easy to shoot a wedding at such location. And my thought was true indeed, the place was only lighted with candles and few downlights but overall, it was very well decorated. I must tell it wasn’t easy especially to get the right WB (warm ambience + bluish lights). Apart from the confusing WB, the camera works really well (noiseless!!) under Auto ISO setting.

* no editing done on the pics, no noise remover applied, only resized.

Farah + Sofie

August 26th, 2008

Farah & Sofie is a sweet young couple who actually referred to me by Lana (tq ek). It was a blissfull afternoon as the event was attended by close relatives from both sides and some helpful hands from Farah’s friends. After one time meet up and great conversations over sms & email, i knew i would have a lot of fun photographing them. Sure enough, i had a good time meeting some familiar faces from previous events.

Farah & Sofie!! thanks for such a great time! happy preparing for the big day ..

Mun + Zainal

July 30th, 2008

* updated
Life was pretty hectic last week and I’ve been unfair to this couple as not to introduce them to my fellow viewers.
I first met Munirah when she and her girlfriends asked to photograph their gang for their convocation way back in 2006. That was the 1st and the last time I met 5 of them in a group. It is good to see the same faces again at the wedding event.

While i never met Zainal before, i do know that both of them are in the relationship for quite some time by reading Mun’s blog once in a while. Surprise not, both of them are now a happily married couple.

Fina + Izwan

July 22nd, 2008

It was a last minute arrangement. In fact i’ve never met either Fina or Izwan prior to the engagement. No face-to-face meet up, no paper signed, no deposits .. nothing. It was all based on trust.

Fina is an architecture student in Melbourne and she was actually on her break when both of them decided to get engaged. It was a sunny Sunday and everything went smooth despite they claimed to sort everything in a hurry. The ‘talk’ was conducted professionally with no hanky-panky and i was actually surprised to notice that the discussion ended in less than 10 minutes. The event was blessed with the present of their treasured nears and dears. Lastly, i must say that their ‘lauk-kampung-lunch’ was extremely nice! Tapi malu nak tambah .. hehe
